MARKHAM, ONTARIO, June 3, 2008 – Cygnal Technologies Corporation, announced today that they have been selected to design, implement and maintain a Nortel VoIP and networking solution for FILMPORT. Cygnal is providing a Nortel converged network solution that encompasses VoIP-based telephony, a high capacity data infrastructure, and wireless applications. FILMPORT has also selected CygnalConnex to provide a 10 gE solution that will enable the cost-effective transmission of large data files to studios and production facilities around the world. Cygnal’s proven experience as a “premium advantage partner” was a key factor in the selection of an integrator. Cygnal expects revenues on FILMPORT projects to exceed $2 million within 5 years.
