| Cygnal Technologies appoints Jack Van Kessel to run White Radio LP |

MARKHAM, ON, January 15, 2007 – Cygnal Technologies Corporation (TSX: CYN) today announced the appointment of Jack Van Kessel as President and General Manager of White Radio LP, effective immediately.
Mr. Van Kessel has over 25 years of experience managing supply chain and logistics operations. Most recently he was vice president and general manager of the hardware division of CanWel Building Materials, with overall responsibility for a 600-employee business that supplied 40,000 products to an independent dealer network and generated nearly $200 million of revenues annually. He was a vice president of Brewers Retail Inc. from 1997 to 2003, running first its retail operations and then its logistics division. Mr. Van Kessel previously held logistics or operations management roles at Canada Safeway Ltd., Tibbett and Britten Group Canada, Price Daxion, and a division of Loblaw Companies Ltd.
